There are 4 Basic Brushes, 3 Color Brushes and 4 Shape Brushes in MagicaVoxel.
- most of them are applied by dragging mouse on the model.

Basic Brush

1. Attach Brush
it will attach voxels on the selected face of voxels or ground.
- if the position of the new voxel is out of bounds, it will not be added.
- it can be temporarily changed to Erase Brush by pressing CTRL

2. Erase Brush
It will remove selected voxels.
- it can be temporarily changed to Attach Brush by pressing CTRL

3. Paint Brush
It will paint selected voxels with chosen color in palette.

4. Loop Brush
It will move model with wrapping.
- moving in which plane depends on the side of face you selected.
- if you only want to move along one axis, press SHIFT while moving.

Color Brush

1. Pick Color Brush <
It will pick color index from selected voxel (and also change the selection in palette).

2. Remove Color Brush -
It will remove all the voxels with the same color of the selected voxel.

3. Replace Color >
It will replace selected voxel color index with the one in palette.

Shape Brush

There are three sub modes for Shape Brush :
+ : Attach
- : Erase
> : Paint

1. Line Brush
The shape of the stoke is a straight/projected line between two selected points on the model.
- project/straight mode can be switched by key P.
- in project mode, the line will be projected onto model surface.
- in straight mode, the line will be a straight segment in space.

2. Cube Brush
The shape of the stroke is a cube which center is on the selected voxel face.
- the size of the cube can be changed by key -/+
- if you want to hide the brush, switch it by key P

3. Sphere Brush
The shape of the stroke is a sphere which center is on the selected voxel face.
- the size of the sphere can be changed by key -/+
- if you want to hide the brush, switch it by key P

4 Pattern Brush
The shape of the stroke is the pattern selected in Pattern Section
- you can rotate the pattern around vertical axis by key -/+
- you can add an offset to the pattern by key ARROW/PAGE
