Wanted to point out something that has been bugging me about MagicaVoxel. I find it a wonderful and intuitive tool, however one major drawback is exporting optimized models. For this reason alone I ended up buying an expensive alternative, producing models with MagicaVoxel, importing them into other software and exporting an optimized mesh. MagicaVoxel's optimized option of combining areas with the same color does not cut it for game design and a more compact model with texture map is desperately needed.

Hope the dev takes notice of this. Having proper optimizations would make this tool super amazing.
